The Automotive Training Institute (ATI) awarded Accurate Automotive the Top 25 Award in its evaluation and ranking of nearly 1,000 of the best Independent Auto Repair Shops across the United States.   This award was presented to Accurate Automotive at The "ATI Top Shop 2009" recognition awards ceremony during ATI's sold-out Superconference on March 17-20, 2010 at the Marco Island Marriott Resort in Florida.

"We have always recognized high-achievers at ATI, but it is now time to formalize the process, give high credit where credit is due and pay tribute to our most elite shop owners for their significant accomplishments."

NAPA Auto Parts and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) have named Lee Weatherby of Accurate Automotive, Mesa AZ as the 2010 NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year for Arizona.  Weatherby is an ASE Master Certified Mechanic and holds numerous other certifications. He was selected for the prestigious honor as a result of more than 20 years of automotive experience, endless commitment and service to customers, continual dedication to his employees and leadership in the industry.

The Technician of the Year award is presented annually by NAPA Auto Parts and ASE to an individual in the automotive repair and maintenance industry who has met a detailed list of prerequisites. The recipient is determined by a judging panel of Arizona automotive industry experts. The award is given each year to one Arizona technician who exemplifies the peak level of excellence and achievement in the industry.

Aside from his achievements in the auto repair industry, Lee Weatherby is a supporter of his local community and has directly facilitated numerous fund raising programs reaching into the tens of thousands of dollars for local high school athletic teams, and for other non-profit organizations benefitting children and families in his community. 

"Our crew has built a top tier NAPA AutoCare Center that we feel is a true benefit to our community," said Weatherby. "Being selected for this award is justification for the high standards that we've set for ourselves and for the service level that we deliver to our customers."
